If my impressions of X don't improve in the coming weeks, I'll likely switch to autopilot mode:
Just posting, no longer engaging, and focusing my energy on another acquisition channel.
26 days ago I started a 30-day challenge to build my first $1k SaaS, on top of a 9-5.
Building wasnβt the hard part.
Energy, distribution, and showing up every night and weekend was.
Didnβt hit $1k (yet).
But I shipped, charged money, launched publicly, and learned more than months of planning ever taught me.
Still finishing. Still grateful I started.

Day 25/30 of my $1k SaaS challenge.
Recap so far:
> validated a problem
> built an MVP
> made my 1st sale ever
> launched on X & Reddit
> got traffic, but no new sales
Lesson:
> doing all the "right" things does NOT guarantee the outcome you expect.
We iterate and win π«‘
This advice is COMPLETE BS
Example: if i dont quit playing chess against the world champion, i will NOT eventually win
You can persist and forever fail if your strategy is bad
Better advice: if you dont quit and keep learning, you'll probably win
Learned this the hard way
Many indie makers are complaining about the new X algo
But the ones who survive are the ones who adapt and stay in the game
Thinking of starting to make video content, cuz many are saying the algo is becoming like Instagram haha
Thoughts? π€

Iβm enjoying X less and less these days
Itβs getting closer to TikTok and instagram. Followers donβt matter anymore. Useless and brain rot content is pushed everywhere. Medias > text.
I want the old Twitter back.

24h ago I launched IndieMap on X and Reddit.
Results:
Reddit β 3.8K views
X β 115 views
IndieMap β 32 visitors, 0 signups
The crazy part is I have ~1K followers on X and basically 0 on Reddit.
Takeaway: message and platform matter more than audience size.
Next steps: keep iterating and launching till we make it :)
Lets go! π«‘πͺ

Building in public is BROKEN.
You post months of progress β gone in the feed.
New people never see your entire story.
So I built IndieMap ππ₯³
β
Share your journey with a public page
β
Celebrate milestones with viral snapshots
β
Turn viewers into followers

Just launched IndieMap on Reddit!! ππ₯³
And wow...Reddit is a TOTALLY different beast compared to X:
> anti-marketing
> pro-storytelling
> OBSESSED with the problem
Lets see...will report back my results tomorrow! π«‘
