Not having the headloss from last night. Its outcome bias and it's not even subtle. We were the better side. We played some lovely stuff, it certainly wasn't long ball. We just didn't stick the ball in the net. The goal was shit, and watching it back it's a litany of errors, from Knight vacating his space, Wallace leaving Tanner to deal with 2 and Lisav going from touch tight to the corner flag within a second. Tickle wrong footed by a pure strike. Not good enough from all of them in that moment. Was good to see MS replace Knight, never a game for him once we went a goal down. Fantastic player, but BdK was actually able to pass the ball properly. We have been arguably the better team in every game this season barring Millwall. It's year 1 of a complete reset of the club. It will take some time to find consistency of result. We are finding consistency of performance, which at this early stage is a good sign. I get that it's annoying. But this is the consequence of years of mismanagement by the Owner and his sycophants. We have a standing start whilst the rest of the pack has a rolling one. The fact we are very competitive is the biggest green flag imaginable.
