WEEK 7 DISTRICT 5-6A DUMP I think our early candidate for Coach of the year has to be Coach Odle. This team has overcome some incredible adversity and they are looking really, really good. I think the question we have to ask ourselves at Rankings Central this week is how high do we bolt Lewisville up the rankings? No Allen, no North Crowley - but #3? Who has a resume better than them right now? And they may end up getting Brassfield back when all is said and done. This week, I think everyone picked against them other than @codybarfknecht, and ERRRRYBODY was wrong. 5 turnovers can make everyone look ugly, but Lewisville won every aspect of this game. Denton Guyer went blow for blow with Waxahachie, and although that's for a different tweet, clearly there are levels to this, and Lewisville looks like they're at the elite level. Lewisville vs. Allen in R4?! Sign me up. (Provided Lewisville can get by Plano East, which.. you know..)
