Believers have no moral right to lament against wicked politicians who selfishly use the country's resources to fund their lavish lifestyles as long as we are comfortable hearing and celebrating preachers who do the same in the name of God.
We are simply not serious.
Acclaimed mature Christians will still attend "big conferences" where preachers who rate mammon over Christ will hold the microphone and be treated as pulpit superstars.
Even politicians are gradually facing the repercussions of flaunting wealth in the midst of an overwhelmingly impoverished nation, but there seems to be no consequence whatsoever for preachers who consistently mock God and the poor in their quest to teach the wretched doctrine of Balaam.
We are not serious yet!

By this time last year, I was unraveling so badly. Life as I had come to know it was falling apart before my eyes.
But God kept me. And I’m grateful to Him. 🤲🏽

Hate to be on this part of Twitter, but this reminds me of my Undergraduate Thesis—“Spectrophotometric analysis and quality evaluation of Amlodipine tablet formulations”.
I investigated 6 commercial brands of amlodipine, comparing them to the innovator brand, Norvasc.

If the West could be orthodox without the Byzantine outward signs of veneration, those outward signs aren’t necessary for orthodoxy.

"Experience has shown us"
I think this is a very slippery slope, there many anti-biblical things that experience has shown us.
When a Pentecostal says speaking in tongues is part of the signs that Jesus promised believers, sometimes the pushback they get is what about the other signs like taking up serpents and drinking poisonous substances?
As if to say if you believe everything is for you, why are you only speaking in tongues and not also drinking poison?
Well, experience has shown us that people who operate in at least one of the signs are more likely to see all of them in operation at some point in their lives than people who don’t operate in any.
People who speak in tongues are more likely to see blind eyes open and take up serpents on mission fields than people who spend time insisting that the signs are not for today’s believers.
So, dear Pentecostal, speak in tongues.
Speak in tongues for long, and if you drink any poisonous substances, it will not harm you.

The Gap between Hagin and Paul is about 1800 years.
If you say he is the most balanced teacher after Paul, there are many claims that you are making from this statement, an example would be that the church lost or obscured apostolic truth and that Hagin was used to restore it.
Replying to @Afolasakin01
The problem is with you not them. Kenneth Hagin was one of the most balanced teacher of God's word since Apostle Paul. If you see a problem in his teachings then you should check how you understand things

I’ve seen couple of people call me their friends and I don’t know how to say it to their faces that we aren’t friends. We have never spoken in depth before. I know nothing about your life, family or even work. None of us have been vulnerable to each other before. So how-

You don't need to be financially wealthy to practice generosity.
Treating people better than they deserve and living in a way that doesn't become a stumbling block to others is also an expression of generosity.
You can serve God faithfully while you're abased.
God values your soul more than all the gold in this world.
Your heart's investment in God's kingdom is a big deal.
Be generous with money when you can, but don't wait to be wealthy before you love and serve.
