⚪ Core values
⚪ Universal principles
⚪ Morality
⚪ The laws of war
⚪ The rules of engagement
⚪ International law
⚪ Philosophy
We've seen them attempt to define/re-define these in real time.
Meanwhile, thinkers are like:
⚪This is why we debate these principles during times of peace.
⚪This is why we think of these things always, not just when needed.
⚪THIS IS WHY WE STUDY HISTORY.

Just returned from 2 week vacay in Korea/Japan. Stepped outside terminal at LAX, immediately blasted by smell of marijuana. Didn’t miss that. We did miss: public 🚮, comfortable chairs, 🛑(at least my hubby who drove) & creamer (my BIL who drinks ☕️). Loved trip; love being home!
Just came across a 9-word note written by my Grandmother 30 years ago. Delightful to see my name in her distinctive handwriting! Younger generations will miss out because now we just text such small thoughts. My boys will get handwritten notes on their pillows tonight. 💕
