There are a significant number of positive COVID-19 cases across the Dacorum area (Tring, Berkhamsted & Hemel Hempstead). Existing measures have not been effective at managing to contain this local outbreak amongst young people.

As a temporary register pharmacist I have been accepted for a role as as clinical contact caseworker for PHE. The recruitment process was very efficient and quick. They are very glad to have pharmacists in the team. Do consider this if you’re not needed elsewhere.
As part of the national response to coronavirus, we are creating a Virtual Frontline of home-based Clinical Contact Caseworkers with @PHE_UK for the Track & Trace service.
