Well what a surprise
Ed Miliband and the foreign ministers of Australia, Canada, and France, have released a joint statement saying they "deeply regret the Palestinian President’s decision to postpone" the elections.
Worth noting that when the UK recognised Palestine last year, it said Abbas committed to "organising new elections within a year of a ceasefire".

This was an emotional interview for me to do. @joshxhowie saw my mood was quite different as he greeted me into the studio. I think what he saw was my deep shame at what the Green Party had become and I felt particularly assailed by it because he as a Jew was most directly impacted by it.
It still feels raw what has happened today. What's genuinely terrifying is the idea that members of a political association have organised intensely for the best part of a year to drive this antisemitic motion through and they were facilitated if not encouraged throughout. They did not take no for an answer in Spring and the short-termist sabotage tactics of the Party elites did not work a second time. Instead the internal opposition was too little too late and could never have been effective for the primary reason that groupthink intransigence had already been baked in.
The Green Party is an actual danger to Jews. They are an actual danger to society. It's said the road to hell is paved with good intentions, I'm not even sure of the good intentions at this point.

To truly understand the Birmingham Tapestry, I have asked a doctor of Anglo-Saxon History to take us all through it.
Step forward, Conservative Party Deputy Leader, Dr @alexburghart .
Then resign from this antisemitic party

He’s a coward and this will not save him. He will become the leader of a rabidly antisemitic movement we have not seen in Britain since the Blackshirts.

🌾🐑🇬🇧This BACK BRITISH FARMING DAY, our farmers and growers expect actions, not empty words and promises from government.
This year’s drought has again shown how fragile our food and farming sector is. Yields are down. Wildfires have been widespread and the Bluetongue virus has hit our livestock farmers hard.
We are ever indebted to our farmers - but they need government to be on their side.
Food security and water security must be taken more seriously by Ministers. Not just words, or headlines politics, but action and implementation.
The government must stop hammering our food and farming businesses with tax hikes. They must axe the fertiliser tax, family farm tax and support the next generation.
The Conservatives will do this.
Food security and water security are central to our plans.

These real stories are awful. Imagine being told you can’t go home from hospital until you buy your own equipment, or not knowing if your hoist will even be serviced. This isn’t acceptable care.

💙Today on #CarersRightsDay let’s celebrate Dorset’s incredible unpaid carers. You balance caring, work and life with strength and love.
This year’s theme, Know Your Rights, Use Your Rights, is a reminder that support is there. To every carer, thank you for everything you do. ❤️
Today is #CarersRightsDay and we want all unpaid carers to know and use their rights
These can help you:
▪️ Access support
▪️ Juggle care and work
▪️ Look after your health and wellbeing
▪️ When the person you care for is coming out of hospital
