Just had a really sophisticated scam call from “Gloucestershire Police”.
Correct number. British female voice. Text message to confirm. Really polished script.
“We’ve arrested someone who was using your identity to commit financial fraud. Your passport and drivers license was used….”
Invites me to come to the police station nearest to me to view the evidence.
… then… Wants to confirm the crypto accounts that are genuine … didn’t feel right… she puts me through to her Sargent… British accent… he starts asking for info about my “genuine accounts” … I start asking questions and *click*
Did some searching and it seems to be a scam that’s doing the rounds. AI voice alteration, cloned phone numbers etc. really sophisticated.
Be careful out there.

Still time to sign, we do not want factory made folic acid in our food, Petition: End the mandatory fortification of white flour with folic acid immediately
We call on the Government to stop the fortification of flour with synthetic folic acid. Folic acid is a medicine not a food. We believe it is unethical to mass medicate the entire population without their knowledge or consent in the hope that a minority group of people might see a benefit.

Abdul El-Sayed and his wife.

Sending all my love and strength to the Nowak family today. They know I am backing them all the way in this fight.
Disgusted that this vile murderer has the arrogance and audacity to claim his sentence of 21 years is "too harsh."
He abused his 'religion' to carry a lethal dagger to use it as a weapon, filmed and taunted Henry as he lay dying, and lied so shamelessly that police handcuffed a dying boy instead of saving him.
To watch him (and his complicit family) try to exploit the system for leniency is utterly sickening.
The Attorney General is right to demand his sentence be increased.
21 years is a disgrace for this level of calculated depravity.
No god, no religion, no skin colour, or culture can change the fact that this is an evil monster who has no place in our society.

Henry Nowak's family have said it is "ludicrous” their son’s killer is being allowed to appeal his sentence and that it is a “disgrace” that his mother, who hid the murder weapon, will be released from prison early.
In an interview with ITV News' UK Editor @PaulBrandITV, Henry's stepmother, Katie Nowak said: "It just doesn't feel fair to us at all."
