As we step into 2026, I have been reflecting on the past year and what it revealed about leadership, partnership, and resilience in a rapidly changing world.
2024 proved to be a year of innovation, experimentation and transformation, catalyzed through the collective energy of young people - who continuously design and shape a path of change for DOT, their communities, and themselves.
Join me in welcoming 2025 with Marwa Deeb, Jean-Désiré Kouassi, and Wendy Shewiyo - three exceptional people from the Digital Opportunity Trust network who have inspired me through a thoughtful, honest and full-hearted conversation about our hopes, dreams and intentions for 2025.

@DigitalOppTrust and the @MastercardFdn are partnering to strengthen the capacity of 40 youth-led organizations, engage 4,000 youth leaders, and support 300,000 MSME owners across Africa, 70% being young women.

The past two weeks of #CSW67 have been energizing! I was thrilled to see the theme this year so aligned with DOT's work and was equally impressed with the many commitments and calls to action on women's digital inclusion.
As part of our 4-year project, #DaringtoShift, in partnership with the Government of Canada, through @CanadaDev, yesterday DOT hosted a session on The ecosystem work of systems change: Creating Enabling Environments.
