Much better shape and system for the Blades yesterday, I like that 3 in midfield and how the back 3 let McCallum get up the field. Lost our way after the subs with players not suiting the system as comfortably but Wolves are a good side and Cooper wasn't overworked. Their depth..

I remember when we got promoted with Chris and he was talking about recruitment that summer. He said he wanted hungry players not players with PL experience in relegated clubs. They had a smell of defeat and he wanted his side to be wide eyed and naive.
We signed 2 from Luton..
Sheffield United are in advanced talks with free agent Jordan Ayew. Ayew, who is a free agent after leaving Leicester earlier this summer, was at United’s training ground for talks. However, United need to move a player out before they can sign Ayew. #sufc #twitterblades
Complete non story this yet again. We love it when he’s honest but then, when it affects our delicate sensibilities, we hate it all of a sudden. He didn’t say it about Japh; he said a fringe player he inherited isn’t good enough - we all know this already. No problem with it 🤷♂️

Not sure if Chris will have had long enough to drill the system (midweek game and transfer stuff) but I'd love to see side line up as 4-3-3. KP starting with legs either side (Peck and Blaster or Jairo), BBD and Donovan wide strikers able to tuck in or go wide either side of Pat.
Sheffield United have no fresh injury concerns, ahead of the visit of Norwich City’s visit.

Literally the greatest goalscorer the Championship has ever seen. Get it from fans but the official account?! Put a bit of respect on it. Bigger than your club will ever be, with a history that goes back to him being a kid way before shitty documentary money came in 🤣

Was this window driven by SCR?
In the last accounts reported (24/25) our income without parachutes would have been £33m, but that includes play offs and probably higher match day income. So lets assume £30m this season.
To that you can add any net profit on transfers based on..

Can complain about transfers and performances but I think this season, potentially more than any season in the last 10+ years, you've got to celebrate these wins. It's going to be a slog, we're going to be in a fight. Enjoy everything you can.

If/when O'Hare leaves, the blame can only be pointed in one direction and that's not the player or the manager.
Our 3 most creative players sold in one window.
That's going to take some beating.

What a fantastic signing Cal has been. Never injured, always gives huge effort and looking for the ball even on his off days, key player in the 92 point season, player of the year last season. Signed for nowt, sold for £6/7m. Has to be one of the best signings of recent years...
Understand Wrexham have agreed a deal for Sheffield United midfielder Callum O'Hare with the player set for a medical this morning. #WxmAFC #sufc #twitterblades #DeadlineDay

When the Blades make an offer for a player, we sometimes miss out because the other club plays hard ball. When a team comes for one of our players, they ultimately always get their man.
I'm trying to think of the last time the Blades just said no, and kept the player 🤔 #sufc

Hugely talented but never taken his chance in the games he has played for us and suffered injuries on loan. He needs to play and impress at that level to still have a future with us. I'm still hopeful, rare to get players with this ability through your academy.
✍️ DONE DEAL ✍️
🔵 Chesterfield have signed 22-year-old striker Louie Marsh on a season-long loan from Sheffield United.
