Of all the people the DSA could have chosen to host its official election night livestream, it chose Hasan Piker, someone who proudly expresses support for terrorist organizations and traffics in antisemitism. Let that sink in. The DSA isn't distancing itself from this kind of rhetoric. It's elevating it. When someone tells you who they are, believe them: adl.org/resources/article/ha…

the fact that AES would rather throw away the unity event two days before the election instead of condemn Hasan Piker's uncles antisemitic ad actually does make me think he might just genuinely be antisemitic because why do you throw away something so substantial to stand your ground on something so meaningless?
Quite a statement from Abdul El-Sayed: "Congresswoman Stevens seems intent on relitigating a primary that ended three months ago."

The entirety of the hostage deaths can be traced back to them being taken hostage by Hamas.
A majority of the hostage deaths can be ‘traced back to Israeli military actions’! Good job Netanyahu! Good job IDF defenders in the West! 👏🏽👏🏽

The world demonizes Israel 365 days a year. Perhaps, for just one day—October 7th—the critics of Israel could take a vacation from their hysterical hatred of the world’s only Jewish State and find it within themselves to express condolences for the thousands of Israelis murdered, maimed, mutilated, raped, and abducted at the hands of Hamas.

Asaf Rejuwan, one of the Israeli survivors of flight 1073 wrote on Facebook: ״I don't usually post on social media, but today I felt something burning deep inside me that I simply had to share. Ever since the incident where the terrorist's attempt to hijack the Flydubai flight was thwarted, there has been a lot of coverage in the media, and I’ve been asked many times what factors I believe prevented the terrible disaster that could have befallen our people had that despicable terrorist succeeded in his plans. Today, I think I received a very special and interesting answer to that question. Naturally, after the incident ended and we landed safely on the Land of Israel, I felt the need to thank many people... the passengers who cooperated, my lioness of a wife and all the mothers and fathers who protected their loved ones, the children who stayed composed, and every Israeli passenger on that plane. Yesterday, I was part of a group of passengers interviewed for an international channel. As each passenger went into detail about how they experienced the flight, we realized something very important- something you only understand when the dust settles and you get into the small details during intimate conversations among yourselves. We realized that every single passenger on that flight had a role, every passenger on the flight had a role. One passenger was responsible for communicating with Israel's security services I discovered there was a passenger on board who provided a mobile hotspot and made sure to share it with others Another female passenger sat and recited Psalms A passenger made sure to pass along headphone cords to tie up the terrorist Passengers kept track of where we were going to land using GPS maps An Australian passenger was the only one on the plane who could make calls back to Israel from an enemy country (Saudi Arabia) And the list goes on... And, of course, the amazing Yaniv, the wonderful Tzvika and Tali, the hero Shota, the great man Or, and many other great friends who lent a hand. I had no doubt that after such a great miracle, I would be attending synagogue on Saturday morning to recite the Birkat HaGomel (the prayer of thanking the God of Israel after a lifesaving miracle) I am not a religious person. I believe in God in my own way, and I don't usually look for signs in everything. But today, something happened that completely astonished me. Completely by chance, today in the synagogue I read from Parashat Devarim (Deuteronomy 33:26): "There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to help you, and in His majesty rides the skies." אֵין כָּאֵל יְשֻׁרוּן רֹכֵב שָׁמַיִם בְּעֶזְרֶךָ וּבְגַאֲוָתוֹ שְׁחָקִים I read the verse, stopped, and got goosebumps, and so did all the other worshippers who knew the story and understood why I was there with them. After everything that happened on that flight, after the fear, after the storming of the terrorist, and after realizing how thin the line between life and death really was- finding myself facing those exact words, "rides the heavens to help you," was a moment I can hardly explain. I don't know if it was divine providence, a coincidence, or simply a moment that took on a profoundly deep meaning for me. But today, in the synagogue, as I recited Birkat HaGomel, I felt mainly one thing: Thank you. Thank you for life. Thank you for the miracle. And thank you for the privilege to stand here and tell the story. Am Yisrael Chai 🇮🇱״

I wonder if "Britain would be better off if Hitler had won World War II" is one of the political issues that Vance disagrees with his good friend Tucker Carlson about.

WHO 13 posts a nice story about our Jewish community celebrating Sukkot, and this is one of the responses. “We need to deport them.” I wish comments like this still surprised me. What does surprise me is how many otherwise reasonable people follow @HawkGuyEnjoyer

1. In light of current attention on how the New York Times reported Israelis as perceiving themselves to be victims on October 7, and recent reports about how various news outlets took Hamas’s casualty reports as self-evident and dismissed Israel’s reports as alleged, I want to share a different angle that comes from the space of interreligious relations, and from mainline Protestant churches in particular. 🧵

Every antizionist who believes they’re “on the right side of history” while defending a dude who literally does Nazi salutes in Jewface needs to realize how profoundly they have been brainwashed into being the foot soldiers of a global anti-Jew agenda without realizing it.

This is insane. A Toronto university teaching assistant publicly prayed for Jews to be slain “one by one” and for none to be spared. The university fired him. The Muslim teaching assistant took the university to the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, claiming that he was the victim of discrimination. The tribunal awarded him $7,000 for injury to his “dignity, feelings and self-respect.” The adjudicator even characterized his prayer as a “human moment.” To summarize Canada in 2026: calling for Jews to be murdered is a regrettable “human moment.” Being held accountable for those threats is a human rights violation. nationalpost.com/opinion/hum…

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred at Field of Dreams in 2021: "There's nothing more important to us as a business priority than delivering games to fans. That's what we're about. The blackout situation is a complicated one. It involves regional broadcasters, distributors, our individual clubs and us. And we are spending a tremendous amount of time in an effort to get to a better place in terms of where our games are distributed. It is the top priority for us right now." I have the MLB app and I'm blacked out from watching all 6 teams on Iowa's border.

Had I not been on a trip to the south at the time, I could have easily been hanging out in this area when the bomb went off during my study abroad year. May the victims’ names forever be a blessing.

At 7:15 p.m. ET today, U.S. Central Command forces began launching the third round of strikes this week against Iran after Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces blatantly attacked M/V GFS Galaxy, a Cyprus-flagged container ship transiting the Strait of Hormuz. A civilian crew member is missing and the vessel is unable to continue the journey due to an onboard fire and significant engineroom damage. Iran was provided yet another opportunity to demonstrate adherence to the Memorandum of Understanding after being held accountable for earlier attacks on commercial vessels but has again failed. In response, the United States is imposing a heavy cost by continuing to degrade Iran’s ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial ships freely transiting the strait. The strikes are being carried out at the direction of the Commander in Chief.

According to a source for the New York Post, Ro Khanna was invited to meet freed hostages and survivors of October 7th. Khanna's team didn't even bother to respond. His team was also offered an opportunity to meet with Druze civilians in the Golan Heights and a briefing on how aid is currently getting into Gaza. They didn't take it. Now, if Ro Khanna genuinely believes that aid is not properly getting into Gaza, why not go to the briefing? If he thinks Israel is lying, wouldn't that be the perfect time to get proof? But he didn't go, because those aren't his intentions. He didn't want to meet with victims of Hamas or those trying to get as much aid into Gaza as they can because they contradict his narrative. And the narrative is all that matters.
