One of the most fun and original books I’ve read in years. Excellent storytelling. See for yourself.

We need to understand this and make AI a serious liability for any company that tries to use it in order to avoid paying actual artists/creators. We need to tell them it isn't going to be worth it because we don't want the final product.

I feel like we're still developing the language to discuss this threat. We understand that lead paint is physically damaging. AI is psychically/culturally damaging in a way we are still working to articulate. Art shapes the human narrative and our narrative shapes our identity.

People care when the issue at hand feels like a part of their own story. People continue to care when they believe they have the power to participate in shaping the story's future. (5/6)

We need to get creative and bring the facts home to people's stories, to their sense of self, but the good news is the truth is a wind at our backs. Our environment IS a part of everyone's personal story and our individual actions can/do shape the future of our planet. (6/6)
