Jarrow School Ski Trip 2026 🤍

Students have been amazing today dealing with some tricky conditions. The slopes are very icey in the morning and slushy in the afternoon due to the clear skies and heat. The students were so impressive we decided they deserved to go snow tubing tonight.

Day 3 of skiing - Easter Sunday was celebrated with a ‘special’ awards ceremony and every student being given an Easter egg 🐣. All three groups are now on the main part of the mountain and taking on blue, red and even black runs. Tonight was finished off with a game of bingo. 🎿

Skiing 2026: Day 2 of skiing - All three groups have shown some great teamwork, humour and empathy for each other today. All students are making great progress and one group has moved up to 2300m. Well done to all our students for such an enjoyable day 🎿

Skiing 2026: Day 1 of skiing (videos in comments) - The group have had a fantastic first day. All students are able to start and stop, and some have moved onto turning. One group has moved on from the nursery slope, with another group planning to move tomorrow. 🎿
