Good for this voter to point out the truth. Abortion is not removing an organ. It’s killing a precious baby. There are many other reminders in the Bible:
Democrat James Talarico just got EMBARRASSED by a pro-life Catholic Texan from the audience at his CNN town hall. His face at the end was priceless. Talarico claimed that the Bible “is silent” on the issue of abortion. The audience member — Jody — let him finish, before she dropped a brutal Biblical reminder that brought the town hall to its feet. JODY: “And I just want to add that the Bible is not silent on abortion.” “There is the Ten Commandments. ‘Thou shalt not kill.’’ “And as Catholics, we take great, um, insult, I guess sometimes when it’s spouted that way.” The audience immediately erupted in applause for her. This is not going well for him.

Coach hadn’t been invited to Halas Hall in 19 years. He spoke to team at practice. So authentic, so vulnerable. Tough guy image who led with his heart. A friend, had my back, I am grateful . On MD Night 12/9/13, in sub-zero weather, his jersey retired. Bears 45 CBs 28 RIP coach!

An entire generation of spoiled brats who’ve never built anything, stand on the crumbling empire they don’t deserve, built by great and courageous men who are now judged through the moral lens of the softest dorks living in the easiest times. Oy vey.

The only one humiliated here is @kaitlancollins. These "vacant seats" had an obstructed view due to the gigantic press risers directly in front of them. Just more Fake News bullshit.

“Republicans gerrymandered the state legislature.” Old map: City of La Crosse (heavily liberal) stays in one place and gets one liberal representative. New map: City of La Crosse gets sliced into 3 districts so a conservative voter from rural La Crosse County, Monroe, Trempealeau, and Vernon Counties now have to share representatives with the liberal City of La Crosse. Apparently “fair maps” means the countryside has to absorb the city’s politics. Sharing is caring, right? Who’s gerrymandering who? 👀
For 12 years, Republicans gerrymandered the state legislature to such a preposterous degree that the GOP had a better chance at a 2/3 supermajority than Democrats had for a simple majority — in a 50-50 state. Now, that’s all over. And Dems can win in the Senate and Assembly.

Virginia could make abortion a “constitutional right.” Question 1 would allow abortion up to birth. This is what a baby looks like in the third trimester. This child is not a body part. He or she is not a clump of cells. This child is a unique and valuable human being worthy of protection. Vote NO.

.@SecScottBessent to @SenWarren: “Happy Indigenous Peoples’ Day to you and your family.”
Exclusive: FOX Business obtained the response from Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to the latest request for information from Senator Elizabeth Warren. The Senator has sent more than 100 letters to Treasury asking for information in the past 21 months. The Secretary snarky at times in the response saying, "Rather than take my suggestion of studying introductory economics, you have continued your letter-writing crusade and participation in tabloid fodder about the Treasury Department." Secretary Bessent also added a hand-written note at the bottom of the letter. (Picture attached) Senator Warren sent a letter dated October 10th asking for more information about what the Trump Administration is doing to lower borrowing costs for average Americans. In the letter the Senator accuses the Treasury Secretary of increasing costs saying, "The surge in Treasury yields is self-inflicted and follows the Fed's decision to raise the federal funds rate by a quarter of a percentage point, driven by concerns about inflation." The Treasury Secretary refuted that characterization in his letter, adding, "It is difficult to treat your concern as sincere." Adding, "As the federal funds rate climbed from near zero to its highest level in 22 years, with inflation hitting a 40-year high, you were a cheerleader for the Biden Administration's reckless spending." The Secretary finishes the letter offering "a Foreign Exchange for Dummies tutorial still, and if you receive a passing grade to the Yale metric, not the Harvard curve, I would be happy to also include a Fixed Income for Dummies."

In 1985, I remember Mike Ditka daily attending 6:30 am mass at my Catholic parish. He quietly entered in the side door, praying his Bible and adoring Our Lord. No one interrupted him and respected his rare moment of peace.I pray he stayed close to the faith over the years. #God’s faithful servant.
Mike Ditka, the legendary Chicago Bears player and coach who led the team to its 1985 Super Bowl victory, has died at 86. A Catholic, Ditka was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

July 2016, I’m working as the Asst. Chief Flight Instructor at the Culver Military Academy in Indiana, when I get a phone call from our chief pilot, needs me to immediately drive back to Chicago, and help fly a VIP to Kentucky the next day on our Citation. Days before, I had seen in the news former Bears Coach Ryan (credited for the ‘86 Bears Super Bowl win) had recently passed away, and as it turns out, we’d be flying Coach Ditka & his wife to the funeral. Now, this was my first celebrity flight, and I couldn’t wait to get through the day so I could tell my dad (a big Bears fan) all about it. Coach & his wife arrive, board our plane, and off we go. After we land, the line crew pull up the rental car, and to our surprise, Coach announces we’re now their chauffeurs for the day. So here I am, driving Coach Ditka, and the Mrs, to the funeral home for the wake. We pull up to this old school Kentucky home turned funeral parlor. News crews everywhere, state troopers directing traffic, and we find a spot to park. “Okay, we’ll wait here, just let us know when you’re ready.”, I announce. “Oh no, you boys are coming in with us.”, says Mrs. Ditka. Okay then. We follow them in, walk down the hallway and into a large room. There’s a line waiting to pass by Coach Ryan’s casket, and immediately, I start to point out (in my head, of course) “there’s an ‘86 Bear, there’s an ‘86 Bear, another ‘86 Bear….”. Now, not having met or known Coach Ryan or any of his family, we politely excuse ourselves to the kitchen and graze on some snacks. After maybe forty-five minutes, Coach Ditka finds us, and announces they want to drive into town for lunch. On the way in, we pass a small cigar shop, Coach says “this is good, pull over.”. We park, everyone bails out, and Coach makes a bee line for the cigar shop. I poke around alongside him, while he finds a few cigars to his liking, makes his purchase, and we all head next door to a panini joint. Sandwiches in hand, we step outside to enjoy lunch at the tables out front. It was here where Coachs personality really shined, because every few minutes or so, a passerby would recognize him, approach, and politely ask for a photo. Without missing a beat, Coach would put down his sandwich, wipe his mouth, stand up, shake the strangers hand, then hand me their camera phone and stand next to them for a photo. He must have stood at least a dozen times during lunch, and every time he was just as glad to meet this new person as he was the last. With lunch complete, we then traveled to the church for the funeral, and wouldn’t you know it, the Mrs again insisted we join them. “Now my dad’s really going to flip.” I think, as we enter for what would be a full Catholic mass. Having grown up in a Catholic family, I knew what to expect. I sat between the captain and Mrs Ditka, with Coach on the other side of her. The mass was very nice, and soon came time for the sign of peace. I shook a few hands in the pews around me, but the hand I really wanted to shake, was Coach Ditka’s. “Peace be with you, Coach.”. “You too, kid.”. It brought a grin from ear to ear I’ll never forget. After the funeral, it was back to the plane for the return trip to Chicago. Coach tipped u$ both very generously, before they excused themselves to our company picnic table, while they waited for their driver. The picture below was taken by a friend from his office, of me making sure the Ditkas were taken care of while they waited. Two of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Peace be with you, Coach.
