Disappointing news on this important trial. 3 arms, non-inferiority to attempt deintensification for early HPV related OP cancers. What do we do now? There is clearly at least two groups of patients with this cancer. Many respond to deintensified therapy, but clearly not all.
NRG-HN005 results of scheduled interim futility analysis comparing experimental arm to control arm for randomized phase II portion of the study showed that the experimental arm didn't achieve non-inferiority threshold per statistical analysis plan. conta.cc/3DRvsu2
