In order to save the Constitution, Democrats must abolish parts of the Constitution!!!!
Democratic Sen. Kelda Roys and Rep. Clinton Anderson say Wisconsin Dem lawmakers plan to pursue joining the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which means Wisconsin would give its electoral votes to the presidential ticket that wins the popular vote. nytimes.com/2026/11/05/us/el… via @nytimes

Thank you to @NavyFederal for donating $100,000 to United Way of West Florida’s Hurricane Isaias Relief Fund!
This generous contribution will support needs and long-term recovery efforts for families in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties as they rebuild following the storm.

Well you sure reached for that interpretation… but why stop at credit cards? Let’s go gas, mortgages, restaurants price caps. It didnt work out well for @RogerMarshallMD —even he charged 18 percent
Great oped from @SenWarren which sounds like a @SenateBanking Chair who will bring a 10% credit card interest rate cap to a vote:

Credit union members should not have to pay for the banking lobby’s fear of competition.
In my latest @CUtoday op-ed, I call out ICBA’s push to tax credit unions while it campaigns for more tax breaks for banks. As Chief Advocacy Officer of the @DCUC_HQ, I intend to keep challenging that double standard.
Banks defend their tax benefits as resources for lending. Credit unions use retained earnings to support lending, strengthen capital, and serve their members. Apparently, ICBA’s definition of fairness changes when a competitor benefits.
Credit unions belong to their members. Growing larger does not erase that ownership or their mission. A military family does not become less deserving of affordable financial services because its credit union crosses an arbitrary asset threshold.
DCUC President and CEO @MoneyHernandez1 response to @ICBA makes that case directly. Congress needs to consider the families who would bear the consequences of a new tax through fewer resources for affordable loans, emergency assistance, and member service.
And if banks are serious about helping small businesses, I have a challenge: Join DCUC in supporting the Veterans Member Business Loan Act. Help us remove a needless lending barrier so more veterans and their families can start and grow businesses.
As I write in the op-ed: “Bank lobbyists can argue for their members. They are not entitled to have Congress put a tax penalty on ours.”
I will keep fighting to protect the credit union choice for those who serve—and every member who depends on it.

DeSantis on Congressional Republicans:
“Why haven’t we done immigration? Shut off H1-B visas! Why haven’t we codified Trump’s immigration executive orders? Why haven’t we stripped jurisdiction from the federal courts over deportation cases? There’s so many things that could have been done, they didn’t even attempt it!”.
New Congress. Same mission: deliver for those who serve.
In my latest CU Today op-ed, I share why I’m optimistic about the opportunity ahead and why credit unions need to help shape the conversation from the start.
As I write: “Every lawmaker represents people who need a reliable financial partner. We should give every lawmaker a chance to help them.”
At the @DCUC_HQ, we are committed to building relationships across party lines and turning our members’ experiences into meaningful action. That means expanding access to business loans for veterans, defending the credit union tax exemption, and explaining how interchange mandates and blanket interest rate caps could affect the families we serve.
For a veteran building a business, a military spouse managing a deployment, or a family preparing for another move, these decisions have real consequences.
My message to credit union leaders: Get involved early. Invite lawmakers to see your work. Share the challenges your members face. Help us turn those conversations into lasting relationships—and those relationships into results.
I’m ready to keep showing up, building support, and pressing for progress.
Serving ALL Who Serve.
