If you’ve ever wondered why you keep doing things you don’t even want to do, you’re in the right place.
Everyday psychology.
The most expensive thing I own is the time I spent trying to be understood by people who weren’t listening.
I’m not cold.
I just stopped offering warmth to people who treated it like a resource instead of a gift.
Growth doesn’t always feel like progress.
Sometimes it feels like losing people who only liked the smaller version of you.
I’ve forgiven people who never apologized.
Not for them.
For the version of me that was still waiting.
Some boundaries look like distance.
Some distance is just self-respect that finally learned how to speak.
The loneliest feeling isn’t being alone.
It’s realizing you’ve been performing for an audience that wasn’t even watching.
I’m not overthinking.
I’m just running a full background check on a situation that hasn’t even happened yet.
You can love someone and still know they’re not good for you.
Both things can be true at the same time.
That’s the annoying part.
I stopped explaining myself to people who already decided who I am.
The silence has been surprisingly peaceful.
Some people don’t leave your life.
They just slowly become strangers while still sitting across from you.
Healing is not becoming who you were before.
It’s learning to live with the person you became instead.
Treat yourself with the same friendliness, kindness, and compassion that you would extend to others.
Honest question:
Does a visual of a naked man do for women what a naked woman does for men?
Or do women need a whole backstory, emotional depth, and 3-5 business days?
