Been hiding behind covers, quotes, and shadows long enough, so I figured it was finally time to introduce myself.
I’m Jasper Renwick. I write dark fantasy, mythic horror, and dark paranormal romance. I also write a bit of poetry, and I design my own covers along with the artwork and imagery surrounding my stories.
Right now, the road ahead looks something like this:
Skoldra: Fate’s Cruelest Sword is complete at roughly 167,000 words and waiting for the right moment for one last full pass through the manuscript.
Book Two of Skoldra is already underway, with around 14,000 words written so far.
My current focus has largely been on Savage Hearts, a dark paranormal romance series. Its origin novelette is written and should be coming to ebook before too long, while Far From Grace, the first full book in that series, is currently around 60–70% complete.
And beyond those, there are more stories waiting in the chamber.
For anyone wanting to step into my work now, Taking A Name—an origin novelette tied to Skoldra—is available on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited, with Savage Hearts soon to follow.
I don’t show my face very often, so this feels a little strange to post—but it felt like time.

This is one of my very first attempts—completely raw. No cleanup, no mastering, no effects. Just me reading a portion of it.
