I got hired for a week !! Next week, I'm the videographer of the Uneed Residency, Batch 2. I'm going to Nantes to film 13 founders who will live and work together for a whole week in the Manoir de la Plume, a 19th-century manor with a big park and a nordic bath. @T_Zahil, the founder of Uneed, asked me to capture everything that happens there. And he gave me carte blanche. What's coming out of that manor: → Videos and photos from the whole week → A filmed interview with each of the 13 founders → A live stream from the residency Postiz and @creem_io are sponsoring it, and @wickedguro , the founder of Postiz, is coming to the manor too. There is one sponsor spot left. For €5,000, your brand gets: → A mention in the live stream → A mention in every founder interview → A talk at the manor → A video I make just for your brand Want it? DM @T_Zahil or me. October 26 → November 2. See you in Nantes 🇫🇷

What can you actually build with Strapi’s MCP server? In this tutorial by @JavaScriptar, we will build an AI-powered content assistant using Strapi MCP and the @vercel AI SDK. It can work with content in Strapi, but that’s just the start. We also extend the MCP server with custom tools to: 🔎 Research competing content with @SerpApi 🔗 Find related articles for internal linking 🛠️ Check articles for broken internal links And before the AI makes changes to content, a human can review and approve the action. It’s a practical look at how MCP, AI models, external tools, and your CMS can work together while keeping humans in control. Read the full tutorial 👇 strapi.link/4ALILbf

🇯🇵 Join us tomorrow in Tokyo! Our own @codingthirty will speak on “Content Infrastructure for the AI Era: Building Experiences for Humans and AI” at “Building the AI-Powered Connected Experience,” alongside @QBurst, LY Corporation, Braze Japan, and JFrog. AI agents shouldn't replace people. They should make people's work better. Paul will share how agents can improve the experience on both sides. Customers get fast help, any time, in the chat app they already use. Staff spend less time on routine questions and more time where a person really matters. The key is keeping humans in the loop. The agent knows when to step back and hand off to a person, and people make the final call on anything important. The best agentic experience is the one you don't notice. Build for people. Augment with agents. 📍 LY Corporation Office, Akasaka Trust Tower, Tokyo 📅 Tomorrow, October 7 ⏰ 4:00 to 8:30 PM Japan time 👉 English: strapi.link/4rPMQaf 👉 Japanese: strapi.link/3THBR67 In Tokyo? Come say hello. 👋

Something is cooking: a headless CMS built for Nigerian website developers and businesses. I used to lose clients to WordPress developers for one annoying reason: WordPress gave their clients an easy way to manage their website after delivery. Meanwhile, I could build something faster and more modern with Next.js, Vite, Astro, or whatever I wanted, but the moment the client asked: “How do I change this myself?” Problem 😭 That frustration is part of why I started building Webtools. I wanted something I could plug into almost any website I build, hand the dashboard over to the client, and move on with my life. Manage content, images, products, and other website data without calling me their developer every Oshodi market day 😂 And importantly, Nigerian businesses shouldn't have to keep paying for another foreign SaaS tool in dollars to manage their website. So I'm building the solution I wish I had years ago. Still cooking. 👨🏾‍💻

losing clients to wordpress was never really about the dashboard. it was the 'who maintains this if you disappear' fear. headless CMS doesn't change that equation.

Fair point, but @strapijs being open source means the code survives regardless; the trade-off is just who maintains it.

That's awesome! 🎉 Building a full-stack project with Strapi as the admin backend is a great way to give clients control over their content. Strapi's flexible content management with a clean frontend is really powerful for this kind of setup. Nice work!

software engineers are shitting on vibe coders but that is a story for another day. we have a old strapi v2 codebase that have been in the company for years and noe strapi is in V5, we have been planning to sunset that project because it has been difficult to upgrade to v5
2

That's a fair frustration. v2 to v5 is a significant jump with a lot of breaking changes under the hood. The good news is we've got resources to make the migration more structured. We publish dedicated breaking changes documentation for each major version jump, and there's an docs.strapi.io/cms/upgrade-t… that can help identify what needs updating in your codebase. We also have docs.strapi.io/cms/upgrades which walks through the process step-by-step. That said, if the project hasn't been actively maintained and the upgrade effort outweighs the benefit, sunsetting might genuinely be the right call. But if there's still value in it, the upgrade path is more navigable than it might seem. Happy to help troubleshoot specific blockers if you hit them along the way.

Hi, if you're interested in learning about Strapi's publication filtering and access control features which are relevant to data security you can review: - docs.strapi.io/cms/api/docum… - docs.strapi.io/cms/api/rest/… If you've discovered a genuine security issue, we encourage responsible disclosure through our security reporting channels: github.com/strapi/strapi/sec… rather than public social media announcements. This helps ensure the issue is addressed properly before it's widely known.

lots of you have been asking why we used Webflow for this one. the truth is, it depends on the client. Next.js is our most popular option but some clients prefer Framer or Webflow. we build on whatever fits the project best.
we recently tried webflow mcp 2.0 and it did a pretty decent job. the only downside, it took 46min and costs $15.01 just for a hero section. now testing deepseek v4 flash. if it performs well, it'll be a nice upgrade to our workflow and will likely speed up project timelines.

Love this approach! That's exactly how we think about Strapi (@strapijs) too. it's the flexible headless CMS that works with your frontend of choice. Whether your clients are building with Next.js, Framer, Webflow, or something else entirely, Strapi adapts to fit the project's needs rather than forcing a specific tech stack. The best tools are the ones that let you build what's right for the client, not what's trendy. 🚀

Salesforce just made a very loud bet that AI won’t kill it — it’ll feed it. This morning $CRM signed a deal to buy Fin (the company formerly known as Intercom) for ~$3.6 BILLION. Fin builds autonomous AI customer-service agents. Read the strategy: the market is terrified AI agents will replace seat-based software like Salesforce. So $CRM is just… buying the AI agents — and folding Fin straight into Agentforce. And it’s not a one-off. In the last two weeks, Salesforce also signed deals for m3ter (usage-based AI billing) and Contentful (June 1, AI content layer) — three AI acquisitions in a fortnight, on top of the $8B Informatica deal that closed last year. The kicker: $CRM is doing all this while the stock sits at $166, basically at its 52-week low, 19x earnings — and running a record $50B buyback, $25B of it already executed. The company the market is pricing for death is using the downturn to buy its own future AND shrink its share count at the same time.

The Contentful bet makes sense — content is fuel for AI agents. But paying $1.5B for 2013-era architecture to power 2026 AI workflows is a roundabout way to get there. Native MCP from day one is a different starting point entirely.
1
12
Exactly. Native MCP from day one means your content layer and AI integration layer speak the same protocol from the start, rather than requiring retrofit middleware to map legacy patterns onto new use cases. Strapi's(@strapijs) native MCP support is actually baked in. We have both - a docs MCP server: docs.strapi.io/cms/ai/docs-m… - and a Strapi MCP server: docs.strapi.io/cms/features/… that lets AI agents query your content graph directly and work with your schema in real time.
