The Indianapolis Colts now are open to trading star running back Jonathan Taylor, sources told @RapSheet and me. Multiple teams have reached out to Indianapolis, and those talks are said to be active and ongoing, according to sources. More on espn.com.

Sources: Colts WR Josh Downs is requesting a trade from Indianapolis.

Trade: Colts are sending three-time Pro-Bowl DT DeForest Buckner back to the 49ers, the team that made him a 2016 first-round pick before dealing him to Indianapolis in 2020, per me and @rapsheet. Now Buckner returns to San Francisco, fortifying the 49ers defensive line.

The #Seahawks are sending a 3rd round pick (2027) and a 5th round pick (2028) to the #Colts for Quenton Nelson.

Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.

DeForest Buckner is (understandably) done. Asked for reaction to the Colts’ third straight loss, he said, “I don’t know. How ‘bout you guess. I’m frustrated.”
