Hey kids! Welcome to Jay Kogen's #PhilosophyPhriday! TODAY: to truly love someone is it necessary to also take care of them somehow? Is real love a byproduct of effort? I'm thinking of pets & babies. Remember tamagotchis? The work & time we put in exponentially increases the love
. Which brings up the issue, can people who never interact with each other, or give anything of themselves to that love object, truly be in love? This idea came up when discussing ai chatbots that people claim to be falling in love with. Or text relationships with humans.
