"The future of warfare lies in the streets, sewers, high-rise buildings, industrial parks & sprawls of houses, shacks & shelters that form the broken cities of our world. We will fight elsewhere, but not so often, rarely as reluctantly & never so brutally.

My recommendation:
1. Read the Urban Warfare Project case study on the 2nd Battle of Fallujah, Iraq (07 November-23 December 2004) written by @SpencerGuard, @LiamSCollins & myself:

2. Then play the @Nutspublishing wargame!
Thanks to @Stu_Lyle for the post.
This little gem from @Nutspublishing arrived today, just in time for the weekend.
Looking forward to getting this to the table 🎲

This was collosally idiotic to stand in front of the tank, even if it was a blank charge. The muzzle blast is no joke and especially when it's contained in the urban canyon.
This is why it's so important for infantry and armour to train together for urban combat. It requires high levels of competence for coordination.
If that was a real, high pressure round, they would not be laughing.
Thanks to @MMaenpaa1 for sharing this and @BenedictLynx for the original post.

...and that it would be only a matter of time before they had fired enough rounds to destroy it, he stated the above (post 1/8) to his subordinates & soon surrendered himself & the city.

I discuss this urban battle in great detail (using 2-and-3 dimensional mapping programs, videos, photos and other graphics) & Wilck's surrender in particular on this lengthy video podcast that I did with my good friend Mr. Paul Woodadge of @WW2TV:
