SEC Charges Andrew Left & Citron Capital — $20 Million Fraud Scheme
The SEC alleges Left used Citron Research and social media on at least 26 occasions to publicly recommend long or short positions in 23 companies — while secretly trading against his own recommendations.
Stocks moved 12%+ on his calls. He then flipped his position to capture the move.
He bought back stock after telling followers to sell.
He sold stock after telling followers to buy.
The DOJ piled on with a 19-count criminal indictment — including lying to federal investigators and allegedly tipping off hedge funds in advance of his public calls in exchange for a cut of their profits.
Left pleaded not guilty. A judge rejected his dismissal attempt in December 2025. Trial is now set for March 17, 2026.
Case is still open.
This is a reminder that “follow my trades” content carries real legal risk when your positions don’t match your words.

I have been seeing posts on my timeline lately about how engagement numbers, or subscription conversions are dropping for accounts
Then I take a look at their work very briefly, and it's majority beta stocks that are now down significantly
Well yeah, I wonder why numbers are dropping
Many accounts on here focus on follower numbers and quick sub money, and they even make that very clear. To me, that's a horrible way to provide a service to people who are looking for help
I take pride in Feroce Research growing its members for years straight at an above industry average retention rate, and live sessions continuing to fill all seats. It's as raw and transparent as it gets, while outperforming the market significantly without taking 50 plays a month.
