Yet he hasn't been in question period for a week to answer how will he finally save Canadians money? Or get tariffs removed? Or get immigration under control? Or stop the crime wave? Be accountable. I am disgusted by the brutal attack on a Canadian Armed Forces member supervising young cadets selling poppies in Hamilton. He stepped in after the cadets were assaulted. He was left with injuries police describe as life-altering. He was helping young Canadians honour those who served. He should have gone home safely to his family. No child should fear violence while selling a poppy. No Canadian should be brutalized for standing up for them. Those responsible for this cowardly attack must face the full consequences of the law. My prayers are with this member, his family, and the young cadets affected by this horrific violence. As Remembrance Day approaches, wear your poppy proudly. Support our veterans. And stand with the Canadians who serve and protect us.
