This was such heartbreaking news. Carole was a guiding light for me as a student, and more importantly when I was exploring graduate school and a career in higher education. I am here, and I am who I am, because of her. My world is emptier without her in it.

I hope you can take the time to watch this. I watch it every year, at this time of year, in honor of a fellow Eagle, who epitomized the Jesuit ideal of Men and Women for Others. #redbandana
