Candidates need a vision and when it is designed with community input, it is one worth pushing forward.
But to see it succeed you need a plan of action. I have both and you can find it here #Etobicoke Centre in the link below.

399 The West Mall is the current Etobicoke Civic Centre/former Etobicoke City Hall - in a couple of years office & community spaces will be moved to the New Etobicoke Civic Centre - but what happens to the complex in a ward that lacks public indoor space

What if residents could do more than voice concerns at a public meeting & help decide how some neighbourhood funding is spent? TO has examples of participatory budgeting. Could it work in #Etobicoke Centre? I explore the idea in my latest post #TOpoli

When we talk about affordable housing, we cannot forget to talk about protecting the stock we already have. Community Land Trusts are doing this work across the city & its time we talk about it in #Etobicoke Centre

From protecting our homes from basement flooding and severe storms to keeping neighbourhoods cool and building climate-resilient communities, local action matters. I'm proud to be the only #Ward 2 council candidate to sign @TOenviro 2026 pledge.

This is important information and in case you were not sure what is happening in Etobicoke Centre; the old TDSB Ward 2 will now cover both city wards of Etobicoke Centre and Etobicoke Lakeshore.
That is an increase from aprox 30 schools to now aprox 60 schools!

Did you know that school boards determine their own ward boundaries which often aren't the same as City ward boundaries?
No need to be confused! Visit toronto.ca/myvote and enter your address for a list and sample ballot showing all mayor, councillor & trustee candidates.
ALT A road with painting on it that says "School Zone"
Etobicoke Centre deserves transit we can count on.
Too many residents tell me they’d use the TTC more if it were dependable.
10 min → 5 → 2 → 1 → Due → suddenly 18 min.
Buses not showing up happens all the time!

Some local routes run every 30 minutes. That makes getting to work, school, appointments and home far harder than it should be.
We need better connections to Kipling, Islington, Royal York & Renforth Stations, major shopping areas and City services.
What bus route do you depend on, and what would make it work better?
Reply with route # + problem. Let’s build the case for better transit in #Etobicoke Centre, route by route.
Lots of issues were discussed last night, these talks need to continue after Oct 26 & if elected I'm ready to do the work to engage & find the solutions. Issues like local road safety takes time & I know, it took 7 yrs of work to get a crosswalk installed in my community #TOpoli

It is absolutely horrific that a volunteer trying to do something good, gets attacked! My heart goes out to the victim & to @AlvinTedjo Becoming involved in politics is rough but NEVER should it become violent! We need to do better as a society & call out unacceptable behavior!
