I’m on the hunt for a FANTASTIC Assistant Company Manager at @Opera_North, to assist me in scheduling and managing a wonderful group of artists on a season by season basis. I’m looking for somebody with a deep rooted love for theatre and live music.

Wise and brave words about ENO from Sir Richard Mantle at the end of tonight’s opening night of La rondine at Opera North. Take note @DCMS @ace_national

'This isn’t levelling up, it is the killing off of the art form'
Important letter in @thetimes today from Edward Gardner, Sir Mark Elder & Sir Antonio Pappano. @ace_national must be honest about the damage their cuts have done and think again 👇

Just devastating. Complete admiration and respect for my amazing colleagues at ENO, producing incredible work with #ENOGrimes & #ENOIolanthe this week, despite the heart breaking news. It’s a double-show-day of fairy smiles today, albeit with a serious lump in the throat 😢
Members at English National Opera have learned that the company plans to axe 19 posts & employ the remaining musicians on part time contracts
The union plans to reject the proposals & fight to keep our members at @E_N_O in full time jobs, on full time pay bit.ly/401jKHi
