So glad to see this piece in @statnews on the toll of the lockdowns in CA women's prisons. Great reporting by @taylormajewski who spoke with folks inside, expanding research we did on COVID with folks released in 2020. Grateful as always to @c_c_w_p for the collaboration!

Saw this gorgeous and powerful piece of art in the #ASBH22 exhibit hall. Didn’t see a sign, no idea what it was. Well @echohawkd3 is TELLING US. I can’t even express the power of this talk and the layers embedded in this dress that I couldn’t (and can’t) begin to comprehend.
This plenary is phenomenal. @echohawkd3 telling us she’s going to make us uncomfortable. “Working toward equity is uncomfortable and not voluntary.” YES. Seriously one of the best and most important plenaries I’ve seen. #ASBH22
