“We’re not gonna let the enemy steal something that God created,” Cooper added. “[The devil] may have distorted it, but we’re bringing that back under the lordship of Christ, where music and art belongs, because everything is the Lord’s.” - @johnlcooper

I’m very proud of how unashamed of the gospel our front man @johnlcooper is. He’s been bold for the faith for decades, and he’s impacted my own life greatly! We have a great band of believers- and I’m humbled to be on such an incredible team ❤️@koreycooper @MorrisonSeth
When I was in college, I went to see Skillet perform with Papa Roach on the “Monsters of Annihilation” tour. To this day, one of the most chaotic concerts I’ve ever been to.
John Cooper got up on stage in a room full of vaguely high/drunk metalheads. Declared that all their music had a point, that life was worth living, and told that audience that their only hope lay in the name of Jesus. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since.
“If freedom is disease, who’d ever want to be popular? For what it’s worth, I think today’s a good day to be unpopular…” NEW MUSIC OUT NOW 🔥 • U N P O P U L A R • 🔥 youtu.be/ZLmelFjmrwQ?si=xT3B…
This is appalling…. @elonmusk please remedy this! @LiveAction

For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

It was a privilege and a dream to perform with @tobymac at the Dove Awards last year. To fast forward to this year, and receive two nominations with @skilletmusic, but to also receive my first ever nomination as the solo artist LEDGER for my song “My Arms” feels truly surreal!
