Once again an amazing week with friends, colleagues and science. So proud of lab members Laura Godin and Malcolm Walling, bringing home poster prizes for their amazing work. Thank you CSI and Winnipeg!!!! Can't wait for next year and London!

Incredibly humbled (and surprised) to have received the John Reynolds Award for service last night at the @CdnImmunol meeting. Even more honoured to have the award’s namesake fly in to announce it. A heartfelt thankyou to the nominators, CSI and John. This is special to me.

So...inspired by a poster I saw at another school, the lab took on a little exercise - to try and answer "who are we"? In doing so we developed a list of lab values - not rules, not policy...but a reflection of what we believe/value - a healthy exercise I encourage others to try.

Huge congratulations to Laura Godin from @Jennelab and the Deniset Lab at @UCalgary on a masterful defence of her MSc thesis today! Exciting to see this project in its whole and looking forward to where these studies take the team (including a re-upped Laura [PhD]) in the future!

Goodbye ISTH and thank you Bangkok! It was an amazing week that far exceeded my expectations. A beautiful city with unbelievable people and food. I can only hope to return someday in the not too distant future. Looking forward to Washington and ISTH2025!
