Teachers are said to make around 1,500 decisions EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. 🤯
That’s roughly 4 decisions every minute.
“Can I go to the bathroom?”
“Where’s my pencil?”
“Can I move seats?”
“He’s looking at me.”
“I don’t understand.”
“Can you help me?”
“What are we doing?”
“Is this for a grade?”
And somehow, while making all those decisions, teachers are expected to teach, motivate, redirect, encourage, assess, communicate, manage behavior, and make every kid feel seen.
So if you get home after school and your brain has absolutely NOTHING left…
There might be a reason. 😂
Teaching isn’t just physically exhausting.
It’s decision fatigue on another level.
Teachers, you’re doing more in a day than most people will ever see. ❤️
