Not every tokenized asset settles instantly.
Asynchronous vaults exist for exactly that case: deposits and redemptions enter a queue and settle later. Until now, a pending request was tied to the address that made it. It could not move.
ERC-8161, a new Ethereum standard, lets vaults that adopt it make pending requests transferable before settlement.
Infrastructure for anything onchain that settles on real-world time.
