Kaduna campaign flag-off reaffirms our support for President Tinubu re-election. Federal road projects in Plateau strengthen our confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda. Together, let us advance security, unity and prosperity for all. @CalebMutfwang #TheTimeIsNow
Today, I joined His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council, Senator Abdulaziz Yari; my fellow Governors; members of the National Assembly; and other distinguished party leaders and faithful at the official flag-off of the 2027 presidential campaign in Kaduna State. The flag-off marks the commencement of our collective journey towards securing the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for a second term in office. It is also an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to consolidating the gains of the administration’s economic reforms, strengthening national cohesion, deepening democratic governance, and building a united, peaceful, and prosperous Nigeria. For us in Plateau State, our support for President Tinubu’s re-election is anchored in the tangible interventions and demonstrated commitment of his administration to the development of our state and the welfare of our people. The ongoing construction of the Akwanga–Jos–Gombe Road, alongside the approval for the construction of the Mararaban Jama’a–Mangu–Shendam–Ibi Road linking Plateau State to Taraba State, represents a significant federal investment in our infrastructure, connectivity, and economic growth. These projects will enhance mobility, facilitate trade, open up communities, create economic opportunities, and strengthen Plateau State’s contribution to the national economy. They also demonstrate the importance of purposeful leadership that recognises the developmental needs of every part of our country. We equally acknowledge with profound gratitude the compassion and humanitarian commitment of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, whose philanthropic interventions have brought relief, hope, and support to vulnerable individuals and households across Plateau State. Her motherly disposition and commitment to the welfare of the less privileged remain deeply appreciated by our people. As we begin this campaign journey, we are determined to sustain the progress already made, strengthen our national unity, advance economic recovery, and ensure that the benefits of governance reach every Nigerian, irrespective of ethnicity, religion, or political affiliation. I am confident that, through collective responsibility, purposeful leadership, and sustained commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda, we can build a Nigeria where peace, security, opportunity, and prosperity are within the reach of all. Together, let us consolidate the gains, strengthen our unity, and build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Good governance is best seen in how it touches the lives of ordinary people. The Plateau State Council on Health has approved 14 out of 19 memoranda aimed at improving healthcare delivery, while new hospital equipment is being supplied to strengthen health facilities across the state. When citizens begin to feel the impact of a government’s work in their everyday lives, especially in something as important as healthcare, it is a sign that the efforts are making a difference. That is what will always matter most.

MUTFWANG’S RECORD SPEAKS. From Kaduna to Plateau, the message is clear: continuity, infrastructure and inclusive development. As Gov @CalebMutfwang assures Plateau indigenes of more dividends of democracy, the community pledges massive support for his 2027 re-election.
EXCITEMENT AS GOVERNOR MUTFWANG ENGAGES PLATEAU COMMUNITY IN KADUNA, ASSURES OF MORE INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT, SEEKS SUPPORT FOR TINUBU’S RE-ELECTION …Plateau Community pledges massive support for Mutfwang’s re-election in 2027 An atmosphere of excitement, solidarity and renewed political commitment enveloped Kaduna State as the Plateau Community warmly received the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, Esq., and his Deputy, Her Excellency, Ngo Josephine Piyo, alongside top government officials, during an appreciation visit to the community. The visit formed part of the activities surrounding the flag-off of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in Kaduna State and provided an opportunity for the Governor to reconnect with Plateau indigenes residing in Kaduna, acknowledge their invaluable support and reaffirm his administration’s commitment to the continued transformation of Plateau State. The gathering attracted members of various ethnic nationalities, including women, youths, elders and traditional rulers, who expressed profound appreciation for Governor Mutfwang’s leadership and the remarkable strides recorded by his administration across the 17 local government areas of Plateau State. The community also expressed confidence in the administration’s development agenda and pledged continued support for his re-election in 2027. Addressing the enthusiastic gathering, Governor Mutfwang expressed deep gratitude for the sacrifices and solidarity demonstrated by Plateau indigenes during the 2023 governorship election, particularly those who travelled from Kaduna to Plateau State to exercise their franchise in support of his candidacy. He described their commitment as a profound demonstration of faith in his leadership and a compelling reminder of the responsibility his administration bears to deliver on its promises to the people. “I am here to express my profound appreciation for the support you gave me during the 2023 election that brought me into office. Your sacrifices, your conviction and your unwavering belief in our vision for Plateau State will never be taken for granted. “Since 2023, we have continued to work together, and I assure you that we will sustain this partnership as we move towards 2027. Our commitment to the people remains firm, and we will continue to build on the foundation we have laid to deliver greater development, strengthen our institutions and improve the quality of life of our people. “I urge you to remain united, focused and steadfast in your prayers and commitment to a peaceful, united and prosperous Plateau State. Let us join hands to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for another term in 2027 so that the Renewed Hope Agenda can continue to deliver tangible benefits to our people and our nation,” the Governor stated. Governor Mutfwang also called on Plateau indigenes residing in Kaduna to appreciate the hospitality and support extended to them by their host state, while encouraging them to participate actively in the democratic process and support candidates committed to peace, development and good governance. Highlighting the achievements of his administration, the Governor reaffirmed his determination to accelerate infrastructural development, improve public services and expand economic opportunities across Plateau State. He disclosed that road construction and rehabilitation projects were ongoing across the state’s 17 local government areas, with several projects already completed and commissioned. He assured the people that his administration would sustain the momentum, ensuring that infrastructure development reaches more communities and strengthens connectivity, commerce and economic activities.

The true measure of governance is not just what is built, but how people feel the impact in their everyday lives. When children have better learning facilities and communities see improvements in their welfare, that’s when the work truly matters. 💚 Well done Plateau SUBEB!!

The right to life means little if people can't afford medicines or emergency care to stay alive. These initiatives move that right closer to reality for the people of Plateau. Kudos to Gov. Mutfwang for putting people’s lives and well-being at the heart of governance.
STRENGTHENING HEALTHCARE, REDUCING THE COST OF MEDICINES, SAVING LIVES. Access to affordable and quality healthcare remains a critical part of building a healthier Plateau. Recognising this, the administration of Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang continues to take steps towards improving medicine availability, reducing the cost of healthcare and strengthening emergency medical services across the state. This commitment was demonstrated through the official commissioning of the pharmacy warehouse of the Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency and the flag-off of the Plateau State Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System, two initiatives conceived in September 2023 and now brought to fruition. Before these interventions, the high cost of healthcare was a major barrier preventing many Plateau citizens from seeking care in government-owned health facilities. A significant contributor to this cost was the price of medicines and other medical commodities. The administration recognised that making healthcare more accessible required more than providing health facilities; it also required ensuring that essential medicines were available, affordable, safe and effective. Through the Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency, the state is strengthening the procurement, quality assurance, storage and distribution of medicines and medical supplies. By reviewing the cost components involved in making these commodities available, the government has helped reduce the financial burden on healthcare facilities and the patients they serve. The impact is already being felt. According to the agency, the cost of medicines has reduced significantly, with some products now available to health facilities at considerably lower prices. One example is an injection that previously cost ₦175,000 but is now supplied to hospitals through the agency at ₦64,000. This represents a reduction of ₦111,000, making the product substantially more affordable and easing the burden on patients who need it. Beyond affordability, the newly commissioned pharmacy warehouse is designed to strengthen the safe storage and distribution of medicines. With temperature control, humidity control and other appropriate storage conditions, the facility will help preserve the quality, safety and efficacy of medical commodities as they move from the warehouse to healthcare facilities, including those in harder-to-reach communities. The flag-off of the Plateau State Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System further complements these efforts by strengthening the state's capacity to respond to medical emergencies. Timely emergency response and improved access to essential medicines are important components of a healthcare system that puts patients first. These initiatives reflect an approach to healthcare that considers not only the availability of medical services but also their affordability, reliability and accessibility. By investing in medicine supply systems, improved storage infrastructure and emergency medical response, Governor Mutfwang's administration is working to strengthen the foundations of healthcare delivery in Plateau State. For the Mutfwang administration, improving healthcare means ensuring that medicines are within reach, costs are reduced, medical supplies retain their quality, and people can access the care they need when it matters most. A healthier Plateau is built by making quality healthcare more accessible to every citizen.
