Here’s one way to know that God is at work in your life: when your sins against others grieves you more than others’ sins against you.
Blown away by @AndyStanley’s IRRESISTIBLE. Finally someone proclaiming the New Covenant and detailing why the highest view of Scripture is to seek to interpret it IN CONTEXT rather than burying people under Old Covenant Law that is now obsolete (2 Cor. 3:4-11; Heb. 8:13). TY!!!

New covenant folks don’t get angry at lost things. They go looking for ‘em! #ReclaimingIrresistible
What does God say of you as His child by grace through faith?
RIGHTEOUSNESS = You’re good enough for Me! PROPITIATION = I’m not mad at you! REDEMPTION = I bought you! SANCTIFICATION = I set you apart! FORGIVENESS = I hold nothing against you! REGENERATION = You’re new!

Wrong question: How big is my platform? How many followers? How wide my influence?
Right question: Who can I serve? Who can I lift up? Who can I love?

Is willful sin unforgivable? Well if Jesus can’t forgive the sins we’ve done on purpose then no one can be saved. Happily, his best is greater than your worst and his grace is greater than your sin!

The prosperity gospel says you need more. The social gospel says you need less. The true gospel says Jesus is contentment in more or less.

When somebody predicts their own death and resurrection and pulls it off, we should go with whatever that person says. #ReclaimingIrresistible
