Looking for orgs that work to help vulnerable citizens to re-establish contact with broken or lost former relationships as part of working to empowering them and create new possibilities. Any suggestions? cc @ImmyKaur @laurabunt @CassieRobinson @CarolynC_TACSI @PantheaLee

In a 21st century democracy where the state is no longer a sole sovereign (on behalf of citizens) but just one sovereign in a multitude of sovereignties - there can be limited sticks in the “sticks and carrots” of deep change. Governance and the governance of transitions cannot be delivered through a monopoly of violence but can only be built through ennoblement. And built through shared learning capacities of societies. This is requiring us to fundamentally change the state craft of transitions. And here democratic states are struggling to rebuild a state craft fit for the 21st century which moves from societal controls & incentives to societal ennoblement and compound sensing, sense making and learning

This looks promising: Since our most challenging issues will only be solved through experimenting with #systemic #innovations, let's aim to support and fund novel ways of doing this. The SILP Experimentation Fund looks interesting in this regard climate-kic.org/systems-inno…

Innovation can be sympathetic, additional, long-termist, and nurturing. It doesn’t need to involve “blitz-scaling” or “disrupting”: it can also involve replacing failing systems; removing barriers; creating ease; and retiring the old and midwifing the new
