19-year-old Somali Idris Ahmed stabbed a 17-year-old Welsh teen at a packed Barry Island beach — victim loses his leg after multiple surgeries...
The teenager collapsed onto the sand, bleeding heavily and turning pale, telling those around him: "I am going, I feel myself going."
Idris Ahmed initially denied it, forcing the victim to relive the trauma in court. He changed to guilty on GBH with intent + knife possession.
The judge remanded him for sentencing on 27 November, with YOI on the table because of his age.
Unprovoked attack, life-changing injury, and he will be sent to a Young Offender Institution (YOI) instead of prison and will probably be out in a couple of years...

The targeted building was not an illegal migrant hotel. Northumbria Police said the disorder was pre-arranged and related to misinformation that the building would be used as an HMO - which is not accurate. The site is planned for use as a supermarket.
