I survived years of Zoey & Aaron and Janine & Greg. I can survive this Deborah and Shaquille back and forth. In it for the long haul.

Nostalgia got y’all being very critical of the ‘A Different World’ reboot. And I’m hoping those rose-colored glasses can come off so y’all can give it an actual shot. I remember the apprehension toward ‘Bel-Air,’ and it turned out to be Peacock’s biggest hit!

Nothing prepares you for the passing of a person that you’ve watched grow up on screen through shows & movies. It’s legit a mind fuck

Y’all weird as hell for this Brandy discourse every month.
Literally every month.
Either she’s not The Vocal Bible
She’s not “relevant”
She wasn’t a “superstar”
She was only “big in the 90s”
Meanwhile ‘Full Moon’ is a pioneering album.
A movie with Diana Ross. A movie with Whitney Houston.
Sheryl Lee Ralph, the original Deena Jones, was literally her TV mom. Not to mention, Brandy was loaded with endorsements. Including COVERGIRL.
So, three platinum albums, a Grammy, a hit sitcom, hit movies, endorsements, sold out tours…..all before she turned 25.
Brandy is every bit the superstar y’all say she isn’t. If she wasn’t, y’all wouldn’t fight so hard to prove otherwise every damn day.
Mind you, every other singer in the game lists Brandy was an influence.

Not only that, it is the FIRST fictional live-action Disney Channel Original Series, as everything before was either cartoons or reality based. In other words, the literal pioneer that set the stage for all of the shows we know & love! Lee Thompson Young deserves his flowers!
