You can only dehumanize people so much before they come to see it is you that lacks any humanity. Don't expect kindness or even civility from those you've treated as subhuman.

One thing I almost admire about men is their selfishness. They seem to understand that they are people outside their responsibilities, that their lives still belong to them and that they are allowed to prioritise themselves, even when doing so inconveniences other people.

Esp bc forgiveness also functions as a way of restoring the social standing of the offender w/o requiring restitution. Once the victim refuses to forgive, they become the obstacle to reconciliation, & the community can treat their continued pain as disrupting social order

Billy Corgan was 44 when he started dating a 19 year old, supports Trump and has been on the Alex Jones podcast comparing leftists to the KKK, of course he's going to support this piece of shit. Birds of a feather.
Billy Corgan says he's stood by longtime friend Marilyn Manson despite sex abuse claims because he "personally didn't feel that he was guilty":
“As a Christian person, you have to stand by your friends, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have an opinion, and that doesn’t mean you’re not critical. I personally didn’t feel that he was guilty of the things he was being charged with, and ultimately, the fact that the DA didn’t pursue… the person that I knew and the way it all kind of went down, even though it was an elongated process, was commensurate with the person that I knew.”

It was a survey with random strangers asking women as they were leaving the abortion clinic if they'd sit down for an interview to explain their private medical decisions and 96% said to leave them alone which they took as "no reason"

For those of you who weren’t old enough to pay attention when Obama was president, this is the kind of stuff conservatives mean when they say he was the most divisive president in history. Same night Trump said that 98% of Somalis are low IQ and refuse to work, btw.
"Banter" & it's throwing a ball at her head. She throws something back & suddenly throwing things at people is bad. Note the men in the replies crying no fair because balls to the head aren't harmful like rackets to the hand, he didn't throw it - at her head - too hard.
You see how men expect to be able to harm women with impunity & the moment a woman fights back, it's too far. There was a similar response here to a video of a woman throwing boiling water after a guy threw a smoke bomb. Men are clearly accustomed to women taking it.
How many women have men murdered that were absurdly declared suicides? Systemic misogyny.
In December 2010, 24-year-old Phoebe Handsjuk was found dying at the bottom of a garbage chute in her luxury Melbourne apartment building.
She had fallen 12 floors. At the bottom, a trash compactor nearly cut off her foot, and she bled to death alone.
Despite finding blood and smashed glass inside the apartment she shared with her boyfriend, Antony Hampel, police treated her death as a suicide.
A coroner later ruled it an accident. He found that Phoebe had mixed alcohol with sleeping pills, sleepwalked out of her apartment and climbed into the chute feet first.
But the chute opening was barely wider than a microwave, about one meter off the floor, with a heavy door that closed on its own. And Phoebe's fingerprints weren't anywhere on it.
Even when tests showed an athletic woman of Phoebe's size could barely squeeze into the slot on her own, her boyfriend was never treated as a suspect.
Then, eight years later, another young girlfriend of Antony Hampel was also found dead. Police again treated it as a suicide.
Hampel said he was at an event in the city at the time, and a coroner found her death was not suspicious. He has never been charged in either death.
Phoebe's family still doesn't believe she climbed into that chute on her own.

Bu dil bariyeri kalkınca farkettim ki bütün dünyadaki kadınların pek çoğu ırk farketmeksizin dünyada ikinci sınıf bir hayat yaşıyor, zulüm altındalar.

Rest in peace, Professor Jason Arday. You deserved your flowers while you were still, here. #writing #WritingCommmunity
Men rely on everyone else, esp women, protecting their reputations so they don't have to. And they're not wrong on that gamble bc it usually works. It's women who are scolded for "smearing" a man's reputation just bc "of the past," "put out a political ad," or "a private matter."
What gets people about the Ethan Klein affair and the Vivek child abuse ad is that not only were they immoral choices, they were so shockingly *unwise.*
Even if you yourself are evil enough to not care about child abuse, you should at least be self-aware enough to know that most other people do care a lot, and double check this woman's background before letting her potentially jeopardize your career.
And you cannot build YOUR ENTIRE ONLINE BRAND on you and your spouse as a package deal and then see cheating as anything but a suicide gambit. You're not just potentially losing your marriage, you're losing EVERYTHING and there will be no coming back from it.
But power, arrogance, and anti-sociality will do crazy things to people's common sense, I guess.
