@ThanetCouncil Walking home last night, came across this overflowing skip at the end of Ethelbert Road. This is utterly deplorable. The council is demonstrating a complete disregard for residents’ dignity and health & safety. You know this is not an isolated incident.
This is constantly a problem across all of Margate. I am currently walking in Dane Park and it is filled with rubbish. This is one of your most basic duties as a council. What’s your plan to remedy this problem in the near future? #margate #thanetdistrictcouncil

I went back to watching Kieslowski’s Dekalog IV and cried a single tear, for I will never appreciate art films.
Oh yes, the hoards of men telling I “just don’t understand the auteur” and I “must have been expecting Dawn of the Dead” when I expressed that I hated Jarmusch’s latest, The Dead Don’t Die, in a horror group.
Me: “Put on the new Candyman trailer.”
Matt: “sorry, what?”
Me: “Put on the new Candyman trailer.”
Matt: “….what?”
Me: “THE CANDYMAN TRAIL….”
Matt: *laughs in a creepy, satisfied way*
This is not a Catholic Church problem. This is a Canada problem.
More than half of residential schools were run by Protestant denominations. The blame is on the government, who legislated and mandated these schools.
