Stop yanking your dog’s neck if they stop to sniff something on *their* walk! It’s likely one of the very few points of their day when they get new stimulation - let them have 5 seconds of your precious, precious time to sniff something without having their head pulled off.

So, let me flag a few things, traitor. 1. "European security architecture" is a phrase the Kremlin uses. We already have one: it's called NATO. 2. You conflate (as you always do) the victim of this war with the aggressor. The aggressor is Russia. 3. "Root causes" is Russian for "do it our way" and you know it. 4. Nothing a word about Russian withdrawal, the occupied territories, POWs or deported children. Weird. 5. Lavrov wrote this for you. 6. Fuck Putin, fuck Russia, and fuck you.
President Trump today advanced an important discussion with several European leaders about the need for a broader European security architecture that can help establish the conditions for lasting peace. Building on his leadership and the substantive work undertaken this week in Brussels with Ukraine, NATO, and our European partners, @SEPeaceMissions and I wanted to share some of the objectives guiding our ongoing discussions. For more than 30 years, Europe and Russia have struggled to establish a sustainable security framework. Decades of mistrust, competing security concerns, and the devastating consequences of this war make this an extraordinarily difficult challenge, but one that is essential to lasting peace. Our objective is to develop practical arrangements that address the security concerns of all sides, reduce the risk of future conflict, and create a more stable and predictable security environment. We are exploring five principal goals: permanent security consultations, reliable crisis communications, greater military transparency, reciprocal measures to reduce escalation risks, and an enduring framework for long-term European security and stability. Any arrangements must fully respect the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independent decision-making of every nation. Each country will retain authority over its own security and alliances, and no country would have a veto over another’s sovereign choices. NATO will remain central to European collective defense, and this initiative would build upon existing institutions and commitments. We will continue consultations through the Shell Bay format with Ukraine, NATO, the EU, and our European partners, expanding engagement to ensure that all relevant perspectives and ideas are considered. We will also engage Russia as part of the peace negotiations. Next week in Abu Dhabi, the United States will convene the first trilateral peace discussions with Ukraine and Russia since February. All parties remain intensely engaged in preparing for substantive and productive negotiations. We will consult closely with our European partners on the sidelines and, if progress is made, aim to move toward a broader multilateral format with their direct participation. These ideas continue to evolve, and we welcome thoughtful input. Creating the right structure will be critical to ending this war and transitioning from conflict toward conditions that make possible a durable peace. This is difficult, detailed work. There are no easy solutions. But the opportunity to help end this devastating war and build a foundation for a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous Europe for generations to come makes it a challenge well worth undertaking. We will see how these discussions develop and continue working intensively with all parties toward President Trump’s objective of a comprehensive and lasting peace.

The reason some people consider certain actions from Ukraine ‘evil’ is because this is the first time they have seen what a war is actually like for the weaker power. “Ukraine is conscripting young men.” Yeah, their country was invaded by a hostile great power, what are they supposed to do, not have a standing army? “Zelenskyy isn’t holding elections.” The country is in the middle of an existential war and millions of Ukrainians aren’t even in the country, this is the whole point of martial law existing. “Ukraine is restricting Orthodox Christians.” Ukraine restricted a particular denomination of Orthodox Christianity that has direct ties to the enemy they are fighting against. “Ukraine is targeting Russian infrastructure” Damaging enemy infrastructure to halt their attacking capabilities is war 101, this is not something unique to Ukraine. This is all very normal stuff in war.

Elon Musk has Ukrainian blood on his hands. He needs to come in and explain what the hell happened when he altered a global conflict with the flick of a switch. See you in January, @elonmusk.

Replying to @efloresmonsanto
“Pacifism is objectively pro-fascist. This is elementary common sense. If you hamper the war effort of one side, you automatically help out that of the other. In practice, 'he that is not with me is against me'.” - George Orwell

It really confuses me why every “anti war” person treats Russia invading Ukraine as this unchangeable inevitable thing that can’t be changed and Ukraine as the only person responsible. Like dude, you know Putin can just leave Ukraine literally any time right?
A Canadian Voice of Women for Peace representative: "The war in Ukraine is really a NATO proxy war using Ukraine against Russia." "The NATO elite shouldn't be profiting from the death of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians."

Due to a lack of success on the battlefield and a failure to use Trump to force Ukraine into surrender, the Russian strategy has become pure terrorism with the goal of murdering as many women & children as possible. Russia isn't some unstoppable leviathan - it's Hamas or Al Qaida with more resources. They lost more men than the US in Vietnam in the space of a few months while losing ground. All they can do is terrorism, threats and sabotage. Anyone withholding aid to Ukraine or blocking the seizure of Russian assets is complicit.
I have no words🤬🤬 The horrifying moment a russian shahed drone strikes residential buildings in the Obukhiv district, Kyiv region. A 14-year-old child was killed.

We in Ukraine probably don't have much hope that the crushing defeat of Trump and his accomplices will somehow radically change things for us. But frankly, we've reached a point where we're no longer even praying for help, we're praying that the president of the United States will at least stop twisting our arms and directly collaborating with Russia in war.

This is how you create leverage to end the war, not with lifting sanctions
🧵Zelenskyy hit Putin’s oil five nights in a row, and Putin responded by slashing recruit signing bonuses from $39,000 to $8,000 overnight. As refineries burned 155 miles from the Kremlin, Kazakhstan cut oil transit, and Moscow froze troop pay until January. 1/🧵

Trumps aggression against Ukraine did not help him. His cosying up to Russia did not help him. At least with Iran, you can make the moral case. There is no way you look nothing but evil, when you defend Russia. Most Americans support Ukraine. It was such a silly thing to blame Ukraine for defending themselves. Such an unnecessary self inflicted wound. One that also happened to be morally wrong.

Make America Good Again
A political party that is morally and intellectually bankrupt deserves the rebuke of the American people. It is now time to make America good again. That is an endeavor to which all Americans can contribute, for we are not Democrats, Republicans or Independents. We are humans, and the things that unite us far exceed the things that divide us. We are the caretakers of the American experiment, and the experiment has been rejuvenated tonight.

I need everyone to pause and acknowledge Zelensky in all of this. Ukraine has been chipping away at bot farms...and they timed it perfectly so Trump and Elon and co wouldn't have time to "fix" the damage done to their false social media support The drop-off in bots was immediate and exposed things exactly when it was most important A hero in every sense, that guy.

Trump was on the ballot tonight. The President had a 35% favorable rating and voters disliked his gas prices, chaos, tariffs, abusing allies and hugging Putin. No one in the WH is willing to speak truth to the President. The GOP wants the Party of Reagan and Lincoln back.
