It’s finally sit-on-the-steps to-drink-morning-coffee-and-notice-what-new-flower-has-started-to-come-back-to-life weather. Today it was the strawberry plants, flowering since they first moved themselves in last summer! 🍓

My 11-up has way more initiative than me…. She made one of my favourite desserts this morning - sesame balls! (Ok I did the deep frying part and left them in too long) I used to get them at Bake Dell on Commercial Drive as a kid. So tasty! #MooncakesAndMilkbread

Walked my youngest to his school in Centretown today and he asked me if they would be sent home if there was a gun battle with the occupiers because everyone knows they have guns. Yeah. Just a normal day in Ottawa. #Day21
