So, I made a video! A little tour of the Aalto-Theater, all done by yours truly! What do you think? youtu.be/BLUlFb9pbpY via @YouTube
Amelia debut done! Thank you to everyone for all your support. Singing on stage with my husband was a dream come true. #SimonBoccanegra #AaltoMusiktheater #VisitEssen

Huge grief about the industry on Twitter right now. To those not in opera, not in theatre, not in the arts - this is a politically motivated bloodbath. The Tory agenda has been ruthlessly applied to the arts meaning skilled jobs will be axed for a political slogan.
Here’s whatI’ll be up to this season in Essen. Fest jobs are not for the faint of heart! #Hardwork #happydiva

#MentalHealthAwarenessWeek is about asking why there are so many conversations around how classical music can heal, but not about the prevalence of mental illness among classical musicians.
We are not only here to entertain, we are human and many are suffering

Well I’m on Day 13 since first testing positive for COVID, and I am still up coughing most of the night. ENT appointment tomorrow, but just wondering how long any of you had the cough?
The only thing which would have made one either of these performances better would have been if we were ALL in it. When will the universe hear that I want to sing with my husband?!
How lucky am I to have sung Mimì in La Bohème on Sunday with my dear friend #LongLong as my Rodolfo?! And now I am sitting in Hannover watching my husband sing Rigoletto with Long as Duca. #smallworld #Boheme #rigoletto #Barisopmarriage
Final Dido and Aeneas tonight at the Aalto in Essen. Pretty sad to say goodbye to this piece. It has allowed us to heal during very turbulent times. Thank you Purcell! #Dido
We did it! Premiered 3 one act operas in one evening, during a pandemic! Proud of everyone involved in Il Trittico. Next performance is Sunday! #SuorAngelica
Thank YOU! I am so happy we were still able to perform, even in these uncertain times. Viva l’opera!

Can’t even believe I am saying this, but I’m leaving on a jetplane! Starting rehearsals for a brand new one woman opera on Monday. Written FOR ME. #luckydiva

Can someone explain to me the practice of opera using manipulated stock photos of random people to advertise operas? I honestly don’t get it. Imagine seeing a poster for an upcoming film starring ______ and the image is some entirely random shutterstock model? 🤔
