Our politics matter. But they aren’t the ultimate solution for just about anything— including the protection of vulnerable human life.
Couldn’t agree more with this recommendation 👇
The real response isn’t more politics—it’s action.
Find a local pregnancy resource center and show up:
• Drop off diapers, formula, clothes, and cash
• Help run free parenting & childbirth classes
• Answer the phones
• Sit with the women who are scared
These centers are free, confidential, and already on the front lines. They need people, not just opinions.
Find one near you: optionline.org or call/text 1-800-712-4357

Pretty sure I’m in early labor, but I wasn’t about to miss voting in Virginia.
Two older women tried to hand me a Democrat sample ballot and asked if I knew about the constitutional amendments.
Ladies, I’m 9 months pregnant. You picked the WRONG woman.
I told them I knew exactly what was on the ballot and that I was disgusted, absolutely disgusted.
Every baby has value. Every baby deserves the right to life. And I’ll fight for their lives just as fiercely as I’d fight for my own.
So I waddled into that voting booth, contractions and all, and voted NO on Amendment 1.
Abortion should NEVER be a constitutional right.
Idyllic. Even the chainlink fence couldn’t harsh the vibes. 😘
Happy Birthday, @JessicaProl ! Wild to be back at the DC spot where I proposed—this time with our kids in tow, ten years later.
"The many positive responses to the Trumps’ new initiative are an indication that women of every political stripe are tired of the Left’s status quo for women’s health and are ready for real innovation."
Nice work, @AnnaKateShelt.

The Sydney Sweeney ad discourse is a good time to re-up this data from @FamStudies.
1 in 8 men are gambling AND watching porn daily.
Maybe conservatives don’t need to reflexively defend an ad just because liberals are mad about it.
Gambling + sexualized advertising is basically a mashup of two of the biggest vices hollowing out young men right now.

May we never forget this day, America. I pray for the people who died, the families and friends affected by this horrible tragedy, and for our nation to be united. Extend grace and spread a little more love to someone today❤️
"I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon."
25 years ago, President George W. Bush gave his famous "I can hear you" speech at Ground Zero, just three days after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
With one arm around retired FDNY firefighter Bob Beckwith and a bullhorn in the other, Bush thanked the rescue and recovery workers.
"America today is on bended knee in prayer for the people whose lives were lost here, for the workers who work here, for the families who mourn."
"This nation stands with the good people of New York City, and New Jersey, and Connecticut, as we mourn the loss of thousands of our citizens."
You don’t need to be pro or an especially gifted elected political leader to get this one right. Just a human with basic decency, awareness of your surroundings… and a shred of historical recollection of the devastation experienced by New Yorkers and the nation at large.

The combination of the Lindsay Clancy story, the one year mark for Charlie’s murder and the 25th for 9/11 is a lot of darkness for one week. Hug your kids. Go outside. Hold hands. Thank God for the privilege of being alive. And say a prayer for the lost and grieving.
This is one of the reasons @logasmi and I are together. The early clarity in our relationship was refreshing.
If you thought I was gonna let an edu-muh-cational opportunity slip by just because it was a Grandparent-sponsored, in a different city, and on a Saturday… you must be new here. 🤓

Excited for you, Eric — and sad to see you leave the Hill. After 20 years in DC, I can count on both hands the leadership staff I’ve worked with who balanced intellect, compassion, trust, and hard work the way you have.
Congratulations on the next chapter at @S2RPubAffairs. You’re going to crush it.
After eight years serving in House Republican leadership, I’m excited to start a new chapter with @S2RPubAffairs.
It has been the honor of a lifetime to serve @SpeakerJohnson and work alongside the leadership team and so many incredible colleagues and friends on Capitol Hill.
None of it would have been possible without my wife and family. While I spent plenty of late nights at the Capitol, my wife was home doing the real work—raising our four incredible kids. I’m grateful beyond words for her support and sacrifice.
I’m proud of what we accomplished and excited for what comes next!

Manifesto: The Mad Farmer Liberation Front
by Wendell Berry
Love the quick profit, the annual raise,
vacation with pay. Want more
of everything ready-made. Be afraid
to know your neighbors and to die.
And you will have a window in your head.
Not even your future will be a mystery
any more. Your mind will be punched in a card
and shut away in a little drawer.
When they want you to buy something
they will call you. When they want you
to die for profit they will let you know.
So, friends, every day do something
that won’t compute. Love the Lord.
Love the world. Work for nothing.
Take all that you have and be poor.
Love someone who does not deserve it.
Denounce the government and embrace
the flag. Hope to live in that free
republic for which it stands.
Give your approval to all you cannot
understand. Praise ignorance, for what man
has not encountered he has not destroyed.
Ask the questions that have no answers.
Invest in the millennium. Plant sequoias.
Say that your main crop is the forest
that you did not plant,
that you will not live to harvest.
Say that the leaves are harvested
when they have rotted into the mold.
Call that profit. Prophesy such returns.
Put your faith in the two inches of humus
that will build under the trees
every thousand years.
Listen to carrion – put your ear
close, and hear the faint chattering
of the songs that are to come.
Expect the end of the world. Laugh.
Laughter is immeasurable. Be joyful
though you have considered all the facts.
So long as women do not go cheap
for power, please women more than men.
Ask yourself: Will this satisfy
a woman satisfied to bear a child?
Will this disturb the sleep
of a woman near to giving birth?
Go with your love to the fields.
Lie down in the shade. Rest your head
in her lap. Swear allegiance
to what is nighest your thoughts.
As soon as the generals and the politicos
can predict the motions of your mind,
lose it. Leave it as a sign
to mark the false trail, the way
you didn’t go. Be like the fox
who makes more tracks than necessary,
some in the wrong direction.
Practice resurrection.
