That's why they spent 6 years and hundreds of millions in pre production making nothing
Old BW would have already made Mass Effect 5 and two award winning, 50 hour dlc for it in that time
A former Mass Effect 5 developer has said that BioWare had seen what RPG powerhouses Larian and CD Projekt were achieving with their games, and was responding by taking Mass Effect to “the next level.” bit.ly/4Bd9j5s
I just killed one of gaming's biggest studios with my freaking mind!

For anyone wondering- this is what systemic discrimination in an industry actually looks like
And yes, they were engaged in it this entire time
And yes, this is what has destroyed AAA western games
And yes, you should hate them, forever, for what they've done

I guess I can say it now - so when applicants would apply to the studio, the producer would go through their LinkedIn to see what posts they liked, and if he disagreed with their political/social Like, he'd advocate not to hire them based on their Like.
Great day for major sci fi video game franchises
nobody can predict what will happen next
A source tells Kotaku that Gears of War: E-Day cost over $500 million to make. Sales estimates have been weak despite earning the highest Metacritic score since the original trilogy.
If it was never going to recoup its expenses, maybe it could achieve more as an Xbox console exclusive kotaku.com/the-case-for-excl…
New rule
You never get to say a game or series was 'always woke' if the woke remaster censors part of the game
#bioware #MassEffect
Everything they did and gaslit you on over the past decade was done to destroy gaming- and AAA western gaming is all but destroyed at this point, with only the untouchable ball and gun games left
These people have 100k followers, get 10k likes on posts like this
There's no comments agreeing with them
That's your modern audience- numbers on social media that mean nothing, and zero sales for your activism ridden games, and mass lay offs to your studio for courting them
Never let them forget this was how these activists were all talking about Veilguard and Bioware just two years ago
They want you to forget, badly, but this @NeoGameSpark and so many others are the reason games like Veilguard, Concord, Highguard ruined studios
Toxic positivity
Decades of being the king of western RPGs- ended in just a few years by activists and DEI policies
Veilguard did not in fact own the chuds

Remember- industry insiders vote at these award shows
So the people who are making games, doing journalism, and consulting took a look at the biggest pile of dogshit, an ugly game that plays itself- and said this is the pinnacle of video games this year
This explains everything

US road rage killer's sentence quashed because AI video of victim was shown in court bbc.in/4rGHDS4
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The sentence was thrown out because an appeals judge ruled that the video should not have been shown in the original trial. BBC misleadingly implies that the sentence was quashed because of the persuasive impact of the video itself.
