200 copies of STAMPED by @JasonReynolds83 and @DrIbram donated and being delivered to incarcerated youth in Dallas. Our kids deserve to be knowledgeable and part of this conversation. Thank you to @JefitaJohnson who always allows my ideas to turn into to action – at Irving, TX

Thank you to Marq Blendz Barber Academy for helping provide 30+ haircuts for class of 2024 graduating seniors this past June. It’s inspiring to see our scholars and youth in Irving invested deeply in this craftsmanship. Future entrepreneurs

ALT "You can walk in 5 different classrooms and see 5 different teachers connecting with students in 5 different ways. Every teacher has their own talents and strengths, which make them amazing. They don’t need one size fits all professional development or evaluations to be amazing." —Brad Johnson, Educator

I’m so happy for your students. 1) They have a new book to add to their home libraries. 2) This is an AMAZING novel by @FineAngeline! 3) They get to read with one of the BEST teachers in @IrvingISD!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗@diversebooks
Received our class set copy of Fire Keeper’s Daughter, shared a sneak peek of what it’s about. What a fantastic way to end the day 😀

The teacher lounge hill I'll die on: There should be at LEAST four microwaves in every teacher's lounge. There are too many teachers to spend half your lunch waiting in line to microwave a meal. What's your big teacher lounge #EduPinion? #EduChat #Discussion #JustNoTunaPlease
I was blessed to be part of an amazing Algebra 1 team. Our summative performance reflected not only our student’s perseverance, but also the investment this team has at creating a better world when educating our youth. Year 1 at Nimitz is officially complete. 😀
