Charlie's Bar 2-3 Emerald. Just about got over the line in yesterday's season opener. Showed good bottle to come back from 1-0 and 2-1 down to snatch it with a last minute penalty. Massive moment at 2-1 to them, stand in keeper Jevo saved a spot kick from a former Emerald man.

Tomorrow our 1st team make the short journey to @AFC_WC for the quarter final of the J W Hunt Cup.
This will be the biggest game in the clubs short history as our opponents are three leagues above us so a very difficult challenge ahead ❤️🖤

A sloppy first half from both teams nothing really to shout home about, Wood having Avery’s best chance in the first 5 minutes. A volley from Russel on 25 minutes hit the side netting.
Wombourne took the lead on 36 minutes a great cross and a great header from their number 10.

Jamie Carragher in 2018:
🗣️“Tottenham in 5-10yrs this team will break up, the manager will leave… nobody will be going back and looking at net spend & points… they’ll just say ‘did they win anything?’… £29m net spend is NOT acceptable.”
Spot on! 👏😮💨
I’m happy with Ange Postecoglou and still feel we need to keep, and back, him…
But Spurs should never have sacked Mauricio Pochettino…
After everything he did, he should have been allowed one moderate season, and a rebuild to spend the stadium revenue.
