Today’s Toronto Star landmark investigation into @SinaiHealth isn’t just a scandal. It’s a case study in how medicine enforces alignment with a Zionist pro-Israel political agenda during the genocide in Palestine. Medicine is not neutral.🧵

To healthcare workers:
This isn’t just about speech.
It is about how our institutions enable a genocide and punish those speaking out against it.
Keep speaking out and holding institutions to account. You are not alone.
@SinaiHealth made its choices. Those choices are now visible. They will be scrutinized. And they will continue to be challenged until Palestinian patients, healthcare workers, and communities receive the dignity, safety and justice they deserve - and until Palestine is free!
A patient safety issue has emerged in Canadian healthcare -- and the institutions responsible for addressing it are silent. So we will say what they won’t:
*** Consider this a patient safety warning. *** 🧵
If that trust has been shaken, the system offers no answers. Instead, patients are expected to carry the burden alone. That isn't how healthcare safety works.
