This was so much fun to bring our project “Embodied Faith” to life in the morning service at St Matthew’s Church Walsall. Lots of thanks to @eclasproject for funding our project and to @JimTrood for being a willing participant. More to come! #ScientistsInCongregations

👑🚶This afternoon saw Walsall's #Coronation Walk of Faith.
The rain held off for what was an enjoyable walk, bringing people together to learn about Walsall's diverse communities and the different places of worship that are part of the borough 🤝

That moment when you’re leading a special diocesan service of Evening Prayer & you realise the 2nd reading is about a rich man dressed in purple who dies & goes to Hades & there are FOUR bishops in the congregation! @churchofengland @Lichfield_CofE #awkward #farewellbishopclive

Sincere apologies for the late notice but due to the deterioration in the weather we have reluctantly decided to close the school today (10.03.23).
Just caught up with @Baddiel’s program #jewsdontcount. Really interesting and a thought provoking focus on a different aspect of racism than is normally not considered. We’ll worth a watch.

Lord we pray for the people of #Qatar
We #pray that as the world's focus comes onto that nation that there would be an end to oppressive laws, a loosening of religious controls and opportunities for an indigenous church to thrive

That moment when you realise the inflatable unicorn you bought for the holiday is so ridiculously large it fills up about 1/8 of the pool.

It's a good moment to remind people of the 7 Nolan principles of standards in public life (how politicians, civil servants, charity trustees etc are bound to act in public roles)
1 Selflessness.
2 Integrity.
3 Objectivity.
4 Accountability.
5 Openness.
6 Honesty.
7 Leadership
That moment when you bump into a man coming out of the gents and he jumps and says, “You scared the hell out of me.” He then looks up sees the dog collar and realises you’re just about to officiate at the funeral he’s attending.
