I thought the "notproton" project looked interesting but the dev's reaction and behavior on reddit is a big turn-off.

I very much enjoy Android tablet fans replying and displaying just how little they know about Blender on iPad.

Again. What a waste of time. Zero good Android tablets for this work. The iPad is perfect for it and you have stopped work for this garbage.

Many of the Spark reviews seem to go very easy on this soc. Standards have dropped

If this is correct I wonder why I was getting pushback for suggesting the lack of 120hz wasn’t a big deal.

One thing I really wish Apple did to justify the cost of the new Apple TV was add the option to use machine learning to upscale content like the NVIDIA Shield did way back in 2019. Apple's MetalFX framework already has support for this!

Yes. The thing holding back gaming on the Apple TV is 120hz. Excellent analysis.

Oh, also, the AppleTV doesn’t support HDMI passthrough yet again nor does it support 120Hz so that’s cool for the alleged gaming experience they always advertise. But hey, it’s got some microphones now!

Good news everybody (where everybody means the two people other than me interested in Handbrake and Apple Silicon). Handbrake dev Galad87 very kindly updated it to include the new 27 encoder option for Constant Quality encoding. github.com/HandBrake/HandBra…

libhb: implement VideoToolbox ConstantQualityFactor, VariableBitRate,… · HandBrake/HandBrake@84a2864

… and VBV options kVTCompressionPropertyKey_ConstantQualityFactor provides better visual quality on macOS 27 and later, and both support real video buffering verifier (VBV) model limits.

Lol, prevents replies after saying something silly. Consider why they RE Airdrop for Linux instead of porting Linux methods to iOS.

"non-apple users" and he has an iphone. You surprised that a person who has both an apple and non apple device wants a convenient way to transfer files from one to the other? Are you slow?

This is even worse than I thought. Hitler was a reasonable man invading nations for the lols. Having US troops in the UK means we don't have sovereignty and we should avoid war at all costs except for getting rid of illegal immigrants. MMMMKay. youtu.be/WDwKfFV8eCU
