In the larger 2025-2026 DOJ releases his name surfaces only peripherally—via FOIA requests that returned records on a different Jeffrey Epstein, and ties to former White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler’s later professional contacts with Epstein. No records show Obama’s personal involvement in Epstein’s activities.
